The Edition
When is my edition number assigned?
At the moment of order. Your number is confirmed in your order confirmation email. A printed certificate ships with your case.
Can I choose my edition number?
No. Numbers are assigned by CLAVIS in sequence at the moment of order. The system does not negotiate.
Will my number ever be reissued?
No. Once assigned, your number is removed from circulation. Each sign holds a single instance of every number it issues.
How are numbers logged?
Every edition is recorded in the CLAVIS Archive at the moment of dispatch — number, sign, initials, date of assignment.
The Personalisation
How many characters can I add?
Up to three. Initials, a date, or a single letter belonging to someone you choose.
Are initials permanent?
Yes. Your initials are embedded into the case at production — not stickered, not added later.
What if I enter the wrong initials?
Email cai.c@clavislab.com within 2 hours of ordering. After production begins (within 24 hours), initials are permanent.
Can I order without initials?
Yes. Leave the field blank at checkout.
Compatibility
Which phones are supported?
iPhone 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max. Exact cutouts. MagSafe-aligned.
Are standard iPhone 16 or 17 models supported?
Not yet. Series II will expand compatibility.
Are Plus models supported?
Not yet.
Returns and Exchanges
Why are editions non-refundable once assigned?
Because your initials and unique archive number are written into the object at the moment of order. Your number is removed from circulation and cannot be reissued.
What if my case arrives damaged?
Email a photo to cai.c@clavislab.com within 7 days of delivery. We replace it. Your number stays with you.
What if my case is faulty?
Faulty or damaged items are replaced. The replacement carries your original number.
Shipping
How is it shipped?
Tracked. Your edition certificate ships in the same package.
How long does delivery take?
UK 3–5 days. International 7–14 days.
Where do you ship?
UK, EU, US, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan, South Korea.
What about duties or customs charges?
For international orders outside the UK, customers are responsible for any duties charged by their local customs.

What is the CLAVIS system?
A colour identity system built on the Eastern zodiac. Twelve signs. Twelve colours. One position — assigned, not chosen. Read the system →
Can I change my colour?
No. Each sign carries one fixed colour. The system assigns. You receive.
Where do I find my sign?
Find your zodiac sign on the system page by birth year.
